ASUS has finally resolved the issue which was occurring in updating the Zenfone 4, 5 and 6 to Android 5.0 Lollipop, with the company already rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop updates.
ASUS issued the update some weeks ago, but after a while, it reverted back its users to KitKat because of some verification and other issues, and delayed the update - asking for more time to fix all the problems. Now, ASUS is pushing out Lollipop updates for its users.
The industry giant is pushing out updates for Zenfone mobiles as an over-the-air update. Users, who want to download and install necessary files, can download and install the files as well.
In Zentalk forums, ASUS released changelogs for Zenfone 4, Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6. You can click on the respective zenfone to read the changelogs. In the forums, Administrator said that the update is incompatible with some pre-installed apps. And upon upgrading, unsupported apps will be removed.
The update isn't all about deleting apps, there is a list of improvements as well - new apps will be installed as well. Furthermore, you will get a more stable Android version.
