Reserve a Free Copy of your Windows 10 NOW !

Microsoft is pushing Windows 10 via a notice suggesting to reserve your copy of Windows 10.

On Monday June 1st, 2015, the software giant - Microsoft made it official that they are going to release Windows 10 on July 29th, 2015. They said earlier that they will offer a free upgrade to users of Windows 7, 8/8.1 - no matter whether it's Pirated or Original.

The last version of Windows - as stated earlier by Microsoft, will offer many user-friendly options and preferences. If you are very keen to use Windows 10, you can use it by downloading it via Microsoft Insider Program.

So let's come to the point: How to reserve your free copy of Windows 10

  • First, you must be running Windows 7, 8/8.1. And you must have installed the Windows Update codenamed as KB3035583. This should have already been installed if your PC has set to be updated automatically.
  • Now, if you have installed the update, peek at your Windows System Tray in the lower right corner. You should see a new icon displaying Windows logo. Hover over it and it will say "Get Windows 10."
  • Click on that icon and it will tell you how this upgrade works. Once it's available, Windows 10 will automatically download onto your PC. You will receive a notification when download is completed and then you can install it any time.
  • You can scroll through the screens to learn more about the upgrade and the new OS.
  • When you are done, click on the button to Reserve your free upgrade.
  • The reservation screen asks you for an email address so that you can get a notification. Enter your email address and confirm it. You can now close the Get Windows 10 window.
  • Should you change your mind to cancel the reservation, click on Get Windows 10 icon again.
  • Click three horizontal lines on upper left corner to display the menu. Click on View Information.
  • Then click on Cancel Reservation to cancel your reservation for Windows 10 upgrade.

Windows 10 is free upgrade. And it's NOT a trial or a demo. It will include all its features. But conditions apply on this upgrade. If you are not using Windows 7 or 8/8.1, you won't be able to enjoy this upgrade. And remember, this upgrade is for 1 year - from July 29th 2015 to July 29th 2016. After it, you will have to purchase a copy of Windows 10. Though, Microsoft haven't revealed the price yet.
