Sony admits Overheating issue in Xperia Z3+ and Z4, promises Software Update

We already know the overheating issue users facing in Sony Xperia Z3+ and Z4. And many users reported it. At last Sony makes a response.

Today, Sony admitted and confirmed that there is an overheating issue with both Z3+ and Z4. Both models are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, which is running hot ever since it was first introduced. But both models are using revised version of the chip which is believed to be producing less heat.

Sony says that there is a software update coming in this summer to fix the issue. Furthermore, they suggested powering off your phones many times, especially during charging. They also told 'unsatisfied' customers to contact Sony service center.

Those, who experienced the issue, say that the phone gets too hot while playing games, watching videos in HD, or when recording a video.
