The software industry giant - Microsoft have already announced that they will release Windows 10 for PCs and tablets on July 29th, 2015 - offering free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8/8.1 users. But keep in mind that it will not be released for mobile phones on this date. Microsoft said that they will release Windows 10 for mobiles lately - after July 29th.
Windows 10 for smartphones, which is to be called Windows 10 Mobile, isn't releasing in near future.
According to Neowin, Microsoft leaked some information about the release saying "Windows Mobile SKUs will be available late next quarter." Late next quarter means sometime in September. This simply means Windows phones will officially be updated to Windows 10 in September, and Windows 10 pre-installed phones will also be available in September.
